About Us

Founded in 1965, by surrounding communities,
Brightsand Lake Regional Park has undergone a gentle evolution,
starting out as a meeting point for the local community.
Cabin lots and campsites soon became available, and travelers
from many areas soon discovered the towering spruce trees,
the clear water and sandy, mile long beach of Brightsand Lake.
As families moved away, many kept returning for cabin and vacation time,
and told their friends, which is why it is a popular summertime retreat.
